ABOUT COLLEGE
Vidyavardhaka Sangha is one of Mysuru’s most respected educational organizations. Founded in 1949 by visionaries like Late Sahukar Channaiah, Sri Na. Bhaddraiah, and former Karnataka Minister Sri K. Puttaswamy — a dedicated Gandhian, social worker, and political leader who worked for the underprivileged — the institution has grown rapidly.
Vidyavardhaka Law College, established in 1974 under the guidance of notables like Sri K. Puttaswamy (its founding Principal) and Sri P.M. Chhikkaboraiah, has always aimed to deliver quality legal education to deserving students. Since its beginning, it has maintained high standards in teaching, faculty, and infrastructure, winning numerous ranks, gold medals, and cash prizes.
The college is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Hubballi, recognized under UGC 12-B & 2-F, and NAAC-accredited with B+. Its alumni now serve as judges, legal officers, academicians, administrators, and politicians across India.
DATE & VENUE
The VVLC 1ST NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION shall be held on 27th – 29th March, 2026 at: Vidyavardhaka Law College, Sheshadri Iyer Road, Mysuru, Karnataka – 570001, India
ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility for participation in the competition is open to all law students pursuing 3 or 5 Year integrated courses or any equivalent law program from any law college/department/university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
LANGUAGE
The language of the competition shall be in English.
TEAM COMPOSITION
Each recognised institution is permitted to register only one team for the competition.
Each team shall consist of three members only, and once registered, the team size shall not be changed under any circumstances.
Each team must include two speakers and one researcher.
REGISTRATION
Each team shall register for the moot court competition by filling out the online provisional registration form — QR Code for provisional registration given in the brochure.
Once the provisional registration is done, the team shall mail a soft copy of the Registration Form (Annexure I), Travel Form (Optional), and the Bonafide Certificate (Annexure III) along with the details of the payment to the corresponding email address [email protected], upon which the team participation and the registration will be confirmed.
Participants are required to bring a hard copy of all Annexures and submit the same at the desk, i.e., on 27th March 2026.
The participating team shall complete the Registration Form and submit it along with the registration fee.

b) ₹3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only without accommodation)
