About CHRIST University
CHRIST (Deemed to be University), a premier educational institution, is an academic fraternity of individuals dedicated to the motto of Excellence and Service. The University is a nurturing ground for individual holistic development to effectively contribute to society in a dynamic environment.
It was established as a college in July 1969 by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), founded by Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara. It was conferred the Deemed University Status in 2008 by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has five campuses, three in Bangalore and one each in Pune and Delhi NCR (off campuses).
About School of Law
Since 2019, the School of Law at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus, has established itself as a leader in legal education. The institution offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Law, meticulously designed to meet the standards set by the Bar Council of India and the University Grants Commission.
About the Competition
The CHRIST Law Alumni International Moot Court Competition, 2026, is a flagship initiative by the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR.
This event aims to bring together the brightest legal minds from across the globe to clash in a simulated courtroom environment, testing their analytical prowess and oral advocacy skills against a complex real-world legal scenario.
Centered on the practice of mooting, the competition provides a platform for rigorous legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy on complex legal issues while simulating real courtroom proceedings.
