ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) is inviting applications from women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers enrolled in or associated with any university, academic or non-academic institution under the Internship Programmes of the Ministry.
ELIGIBILITY
Women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers from non-tier-I cities and rural parts of India are eligible.
They must be enrolled in or associated with any university, academic or non-academic institution.
AGE LIMIT
21 years to 40 years
LIST OF TIER 1 CITIES
Tier-1 cities include: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.
Note: Candidates belonging to Tier-I cities are not eligible to apply for the internship.
NUMBER OF INTERNS
The Ministry will take up to 20 interns per batch.
INCENTIVES
Stipend: Rs. 20,000 per month
Travel reimbursement: Deluxe/AC Bus/3-Tier AC Train fare for joining the program and returning home after completion
